Role Overview

We are seeking a Valuation Intern to join our team. This is a full-time (40 hours/week), paid hourly internship with a hybrid schedule requiring candidates to work both remotely and in our office located in Downtown Los Angeles. This role is designed to provide hands-on learning and build foundational skills for a career in commercial real estate appraisal.

As a Valuation Intern, you will do the following tasks:

Property Inspections: Exposure to how appraisers assess physical and economic conditions at site inspections.
Comparable Data Confirmation: Learn the confirmation process for sale and rent comparables, helping you develop necessary communication and writing skills.
Report Assembly: Assist in creating appraisal deliverables, gaining exposure to the valuation process.

This internship offers a strong foundation for building your first steps in a career within commercial real estate. By working alongside a dynamic team of experienced appraisers, participating in team activities, and receiving structured training, you will gain exposure to the professionalism and foundational skills necessary for a career in the commercial real estate industry.

Qualifications

We are looking for individuals who demonstrate:

A Bachelor’s degree, either as a recent college graduate or graduating Senior
A strong passion for commercial real estate (no prior experience needed).
Exceptional analytical, research, and writing skills.
Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
A strong work ethic and an aptitude for attention to detail.
Effective time management skills and the ability to meet deadlines.
