RSDS Appraisal Diversity is a leading provider of Real Estate Appraiser Trainee programs that emphasize diversity, inclusion, equity, and military service. As of November 2024, RSDS has graduated ~80 new trainees. The company collaborates with national mortgage lenders, appraisal management companies, and industry advocates to address labor shortages in the appraisal industry and provide high-paying jobs to underrepresented groups.

Role Description

This is a remote role for a Trainee Appraiser at RSDS Appraisal Diversity. The Trainee Appraiser will be involved in learning and conducting real estate appraisals, analyzing market data, assisting senior appraisers, and preparing appraisal reports. They will also participate in training programs to develop proficiency in appraisal techniques and valuation methods.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of real estate fundamentals, appraisal principles, and market analysis
• Strong analytical and critical thinking skills
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to work independently and with a team
• Relevant qualifying coursework completed
• Prior experience on a signed log by former or current supervisor is a plus
